One of the truest adages of the philosophy of Joseph Campbell that has been espoused by Dave Grace at Olympia Sports Camp and explored in A Hero's Journey: Beyond Little Norway and Olympia Sports Camp is that we are all heroes of our own journey. As heroes, who we become on our journey as far more important than any temporary successes and achievements we reach along the way. This is a favourite Olympia picture of mine as it captures a moment in time and shows the fun and camaraderie of Olympia Sports Camp.
